Privacy
This notice is for the operator of cs2traderstart.com, an independent CS2 skin-trade preview. It is not SkinsMonkey, not Valve, and not Steam.
What is collected
The site stores your cookie choice in this browser under the localStorage key local-cookie-choice. That value is only the option you pick on the banner, Accept or Essential only.
If you choose the yellow Sign in via Steam control, the browser goes to steam-auth.php and then to Steam's own sign-in page on steamcommunity.com. This site never asks for a Steam username or password and does not receive them. After you finish on Steam, Steam may send back an OpenID assertion. This site checks that assertion with Steam and, only if Steam replies that it is valid, shows the SteamID64 parsed from the claimed identifier.
The trade screen does not upload your inventory and does not send a trade. Prices and item cards on the page are part of the preview layout.
Purpose
The cookie choice is used only to remember whether the banner should stay hidden. The Steam OpenID identifier is used only to show that you signed in on Steam and to display the SteamID64 on the confirmation page. It is not used to open a separate account on this site.
Retention
The cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear site data for cs2traderstart.com or remove that localStorage key. The SteamID64 is shown in the page response after a successful check. This site does not keep a user database of Steam passwords, and it does not sell personal data.
No account beyond the Steam id
There is no account on cs2traderstart.com beyond the SteamID64 shown after a successful Steam OpenID check. You are not asked to create a password here.
Deletion
To ask for deletion of any identifier this operator may have from a sign-in, email contact@cs2traderstart.com. Mail may take a few days. Also clear this site's data in your browser to remove the local cookie choice.

When you are on steamcommunity.com, Steam's own privacy policy applies, not this one. This site is not affiliated with Valve or Steam.
